Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 100 per cottage per week is required to secure your booking. Once this has been received, along with your booking form, a confirmation invoice will be sent by post or email. The balance of the cost of your holiday as detailed by the invoice is due 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. No further reminders will be sent. Please note - For the Christmas and New Year weeks final payment should be made by October 14th.

Cancellation

Once we have received your deposit and booking form having first checked availability for the dates you require, our agreement with you is a legal contract. If for any reason you cannot go on holiday and you cancel at any time during the eight week period before the date of your holiday (Or for the Christmas and New Year weeks the period after October 14th) you will be liable for the booking in full, unless we are able to re-let the cottage. If we succeed in re-letting the cottage then we will refund to you any such rentals received less your deposit, which is always non-refundable. If you have to cancel your holiday prior to 8 weeks before the date of your holiday you would simply lose your deposit. (Please note: If you have to cancel your holiday prior to October 14th for the Christmas and New Year weeks then you would simply lose your deposit) We strongly recommend you take out cancellation insurance for your holiday.

We would only cancel your holiday if your cottage(s) were unavailable for reasons beyond our control. If possible we would offer you alternative accommodation, but if this were not possible or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all money paid for the holiday to you.

Arrival

Your cottage will be ready for you from 1600 hrs on the day of your arrival, unless otherwise agreed in advance. If your arrival is expected to be later than 2300 hrs please contact us so that arrangements can be made for the key.

Departure

You should vacate your cottage by 1000 hrs on the morning of your departure in a clean and tidy condition.

Damage and Breakages

You are responsible for any breakages or damage you may do to the cottage and its contents. We would ask that you report these should they occur. We would not normally charge for minor breakages provided that they are reported.

Pets

Well behaved pets are normally allowed in the cottages, but not on the furniture. Pets must not be left in the cottages alone.

Smoking

We operate a no smoking policy in our cottages. You are however welcome to smoke in the games room if you so wish.
